MONO fits Garmin Varia RTL 515, RTL 516, RTL 510, RTL 511, RTL 500, RTL 501, RearVue 820 (StVZO), TL 301 and RVR 315. The RCT715 with integrated camera is not supported. The mount uses Garmin's original quarter-turn interface.

The exact name of your seatpost is most reliably found via the manufacturer's code, for example Canyon SP0046, Specialized S-Works Tarmac or Cube Aerium. Some manufacturers print it on the seatpost itself. Otherwise check the manufacturer's page for your bike model, or failing that public databases can help. The configurator above lets you narrow it down by brand and model.

The manufacturer's article/model number is the most reliable way to identify the right mount for your seatpost. Some manufacturers release new bike models mid-year, so a label like “Canyon Speedmax CFX (2023)” can be misleading. With the unique article/model number, you're on the safe side.

Some manufacturers and models have different seat-tube angles depending on frame size. You can check the geometry data to see whether this applies to your model. For example: the same bike model might have a 75° seat angle in size S, but 72.75° in size XL. To avoid offering a separate mount for every frame size and seat angle, we design our mounts around an average value — usually the model's middle frame size and its corresponding seat angle. For extreme frame sizes (such as XXS or XL), this can result in a barely noticeable deviation of +/- 0–1.5° in horizontal alignment. We consider this acceptable.

Yes. MONO is a single piece — the locking element and the holding element engage form-fittingly via their geometry, with no screws or metal parts. We've tested MONO extensively on gravel, cobblestones and crushed stone — it doesn't rattle, wobble or come loose.

Yes. As soon as the lock is engaged, MONO sits form-fittingly on the post — regardless of whether the radar is already mounted. Convenient when switching the rear light between multiple bikes.

The Garmin original is a universal mount with rubber shims. Other mounts on the market also require screws and tools for installation. MONO is a precision mount made in Germany that matches the geometry of your seatpost exactly and installs tool-free. The price reflects material, innovation and on-demand manufacturing in Kiel.
