We built MONO
because good ideas
don't need screws.
It started with a
rattle.
A universal mount on an aero seatpost is a workaround. It rattles. It slips. It never quite sits right.
That's how it began. With a Garmin Varia RTL 510, a Giant Trinity Advanced Pro, and one question: Why do I have to shim the universal mount with foam just to get the radar aligned properly? And why is there no mount that doesn't just roughly fit, but actually fits?
The answer was: because nobody wanted to measure the geometry of every single seatpost. The standard mount comes with every taillight. It's free. It's universal. It's okay. But on a seatpost it was never designed for, it rattles and slips.
So I started designing mounts that actually fit — measuring every seatpost individually. In 2020 just privately, for friends. At the end of 2023 we turned it into watts and grams — back then still with a bolt and a tool for mounting. And in early 2025 came the question: do we even need the bolt?
That became MONO. Made from Nylon PA12 CF. One piece. Tool-less. Printed to order in Kiel.
Made to order.
In Kiel.
Every MONO is built to order in our Kiel workshop using additive manufacturing. On demand, not from stock. You order, we print, we ship. It reaches you within up to 7 working days*.
There's a reason for this: additive manufacturing lets us produce 45+ different seatpost geometries without building tooling. We can add new models to the range within two to four weeks, once a bike model reaches us for measurement.
Four principles,
four decisions.
Form follows function
We build nothing without function. A mount has exactly one job: holding your radar securely and precisely.
Tool-less
We engineer so you never need a tool. A good mount sits without an Allen key.
On-demand instead of stock
We print nothing for the shelf. Every part is made only when you order it.
Made in Kiel
We manufacture in our own workshop in Kiel. Everything we sell passes through our hands.

Basti
watts and grams began with an attempt to build a better mount for my own bike. Today it's a small workshop in Kiel. MONO is the result of many discussions among friends, many prototypes, and even more discarded versions. Built because we wanted it ourselves.
